When a tree has to come down, how it is cut matters as much as whether it comes down. Tree King plans the cutting method around your lot, the lean of the tree, and what sits under the drop zone.

Limbs and trunk sections are lowered on ropes or with a crane so nothing uncontrolled hits the house, fence or neighbouring yard. This is the default on tight Ottawa lots.
Used when the tree is large, brittle, or boxed in by buildings and wires. The crane takes the weight so the climber can make clean cuts.

Only where there is a clear, safe fall lane, which many urban sites do not have. We will not force an open fall to save time.
Residential backyards, narrow side yards, trees over garages and pools, and trees near service lines. Power-line work is coordinated with the utility when the line is live.
We chip what we can on site, stack or haul logs as agreed, and rake the work area. Stump grinding is scheduled as a follow-up unless you booked it with the cut.
Amazing service and a great crew. Tree King dropped some large trees and in the right direction and cut them up nicely. The guys will be my go to guys for any future work. Thanks for the quick turnaround and for working through the rainy weather. Also want to say that I appreciate the advice provided. They were never too busy to explain any questions (and I had a bunch).
Cutting is the takedown itself. A full removal usually adds brush chipping, log haul-away, permit support when needed and optional stump grinding.
